About Us

NGI Plastics is the reconstructive and plastic surgery practice of Dr Nils Irsigler based at the Zuid Afrikaans Hospital in Pretoria.

We specialise in post-cancer reconstruction, cosmetic surgery and a number of non-surgical cosmetic treatments. We have recently taken a keen interest in skin cancers and the treatment, removable and reconstruction thereof. Dr Nils Irsigler is also on call at several trauma units, where he mainly works on children with lacerations and dog bites.

Our Team

Dr Nils Irsigler – Surgeon

Qualified through the College of Medicine of South Africa and is a member of APRSSA. He enjoys a balanced approach to his specialty with an interest in both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.

He lays great importance in understanding the patients’ needs and optimising a treatment plan. Being part of a motivated and attentive team is a pleasure that allows him to offer a holistic and satisfying outcome for his patients. As a member of the Mohs surgery team at Club Surgical Centre he is also able to offer a further specialised service where indicated.

Vanda Paul – Practice Manager

Vanda is a registered member with HPCSA as a medic and with a keen interest in wound care and scar management, with over 20 years of work experience. She prides herself in providing advanced scar treatment with excellent results. She guides and assists with the varieties of non-surgical rejuvenation plans we have on offer.

She enjoys the personal interaction with her patients and being able to offer valuable advice on skin care options.

Hesme Kruger – Somatologist

Hesme qualified in 1999 as a somotologist and is a valuable member to our team. Her attention to detail and knowledge of skin care, allows her to offer diverse modalities of treatment. Her commitment and vibrant nature, is frequently received with positive feedback from our patients.
